Last week’s newsletter talking about the situations we went through in the US, was the most read. People identify when we talk about our problems, so I will bring you more difficult situations, from the life of a businessman in internationalization and passionate about asset management.

We all know how rich the US is and that, because of this, investments in technology there are heavy! Today there is not only Silicon Valley, there are over 10 new cities being considered new centers of technology and innovation. In addition, the number of companies is huge, the availability of investments is colossal. The asset management market is valued at $20 billion in USA.

Then, a company from Curitiba (us, Manusis4) goes there and demonstrates its solution to two of the largest private companies in the US and the feedback is energizing.

One is a crematorium. If you think you can’t manage assets in a crematorium, you’re sorely mistaken. We met this company at the OnRamp Manufacturing Conference, an event organized by gBeta gener8tor, which is an acceleration program, like Endeavor’s, that runs several times a year in cities across the United States. (There is text about both here)

We never imagined serving this company, but it is not just any crematorium: it is one of the largest North American companies, with a gigantic and competent IT team. There are over six thousand cremation ovens, an immense factory, central offices, thousands of employees. Our work with them starts in January and will scale us worldwide to over 10 countries across Europe, Central America and the UK.

Remember what I said last week about not giving up? That’s it. This is the point I wanted to reach: everything is worth it. When you think you can’t take it anymore, hold on just a little longer, because the moments of glory are coming.
